2013 JA Company Program

We know that this week has been really difficult for all of you with exams, grads, the Shareholders Report, and a lot more things going on. We know that you all are very stressed. So, because you all are awesome, guess what?

We're extending the deadline to submit the Shareholders Report until Monday May 27 at 11 am.

To wrap up the Company Program, you are required to have an off-site board meeting. At this meeting each VP needs to summarize what they have done throughout the program and also go through goals and numbers in each position. Some ways to do this is to go through your business plan and compare what you wrote to what you accomplished. You can go through each Executive Summary in your IT system as well.

If your company is interested in any of the company awards (Teamwork Award, Social Entrepreneurship Award, and Company of the Year Award), please have ONLY your President reply to this post with your company name and the awards you are interested in.

Also, please keep in mind that the company interviews require 3 achievers from your company in order to proceed.

You have until Friday, May 24, 2013.

This week all achievers must fill out a Company Program feedback form. Click here for the feedback form. Achievers that have a laptop or a tablet, please bring it so that we can get the feedback forms finished quickly if they are not done prior to your meeting. You must finish the feedback form before writing on the Wall of Evidence. 

It's that time of year, as the Company Program comes to an end, that achievers get the chance to write on our Wall of Evidence. You must write a quote about your experience in Junior Achievement not a stock quote. You must write down your quote on a sheet of paper and a Center Manager will come to your company and approve your quote.

Once you've read the criteria, please click here to apply online. (applications are now closed!)

Liquidating the company is a process that will take a couple of weeks. After that, you will have to write a Shareholder's Report and complete some more steps. Please refer to the Criteria and Checklist posted under Resources.

All these steps must be completed before Friday, May 24th, 2013.

Once you have completed these steps, you'll have to plan for an off-site Board Meeting. Details to come.
